Why Join AMVETS?
- AMVETS is a veterans service organization devoted to serving our community and other veterans. Joining allows you to help fellow veterans in the planning of our many community service projects and other post activities.
- AMVETS (American Veterans) also offers one of the most liberal membership criteria of any national veterans service organization.
- The assistance that AMVETS offers to veterans is free of charge, and a veteran doesn't have to be an AMVETS member to receive it.
- Colfax AMVETS serve their fellow veterans, the local communities, and current service members through a wide variety of programs. AMVETS National Headquarters also keeps a watchful eye on all Capitol Hill legislation and aggressively comments on every bill that is likely to affect veterans and current military personnel .
